Note:
You can only view and set these parameters by selecting a single unit. If you select more than one unit, you do not see the Power tab and you cannot set any of the PoE parameters. The Power Supply under Edit > Chassis also provides information on the DC source type, or redundant power supply (refer to Power Supply tab). |
The DC Source tab displays the presence or absence of an optional external power source, either the BayStack 10 Power Supply Unit or the Intergy* Network Energy Source (NES) from Invensys Energy Systems. Additionally, you configure the DC source type and the DC source configuration using this window.
Note:
You always configure the DC source type and the DC source configuration whether or not you are using an optional external DC power source.

To open the DC Source tab for a single unit:
