The following table describes the Configuration tab of the STG dialog box.
Id
Displays an integer between 1 and 8 that identifies the STG.
BridgeAddress
Displays the MAC address used by this bridge; usually the smallest MAC address of all ports in the bridge.
NumPorts
Displays the number of ports controlled by this bridging entity.
ProtocolSpecification
Displays the version of spanning tree that is running.
Priority
Enter the first two octets of the 8-octet bridge ID; range is 0 to 65535.
BridgeMaxAge
Enter the maximum time you want to allow before the specified STG times out, in seconds; range is 600 to 4,000.
BridgeHelloTime
Enter the maximum time between hellos, in seconds; range is 100 to 1,000.
BridgeForwardDelay
Enter the maximum delay in forwarding, in seconds; range is 400 to 3,000.
Enable STP
Lets you enable or disable the spanning tree group.
TaggedBdpuVlanId
The VLAN ID for tagged BDPUs.
PortMembers
Displays which ports are members of the specified STG. Although this field is read-write, the BayStack 470 does not support adding or removing ports directly to STGs. Instead, you must change the port membership by adding and removing VLANs.
