Server tab fields

The following table lists and describes the fields on the Server tab.

Field Description
Server Index
The SSL server's index number.
Server Name
The SSL server's name, primarily for your reference.
Server IP
The virtual server IP address (on the WSM), to which the virtual SSL server is mapped. The IP address the SSL server listens to.
Server Port
A TCP portpair for the virtual SSL server.
Server RIP
Real (backend) server IPaddress. If this value is 0.0.0.0, the SSL server sends all packets to the sslServerIp. This is useful when the SAM is used in conjunction with a WSM, which load balances the traffic to the real servers.
Server RPort
Real (backend) server port.
Server Protocol
The SSL protocol the server accepts.
  • ssl2 - SSL v2.0
  • ssl3 - SSL v3.0 and TLS 1.0
  • ssl23 - SSL v2.0, SSL v3.0, and TLS 1.0
  • tls1 - TLS 1.0
Server Type
The virtual server type.
  • generic (1) (the default)
  • http (2)
  • smtp (3)
  • imap (4)
  • pop (5)
Server Proxy Mode
Indicates if Transparent Proxy mode is off (default) or on.
  • On -- packets sent to the real server show the source address of the client.
  • Off -- the SAM's own source IP address is used in packets sent to the real server.
Server Cache Size
Number (0 to 2147483647) of entries in the session reuse cache. The default is 8000.
Server Cache Timeout
TTL (in milliseconds) of the sessions in the session reuse cache. The default is 5 minutes.
Server Status
Current server state.
  • Active

Note Note: This version of Device Manager supports viewing only of the SAM. You cannot configure the SAM from Device Manager, but you can view SAM information and statistics.
