Using Device Manager for the SAM

The SAM device view

From the device view, you can see the position of the SAM card in the chassis, the maintenance port, and the online LED.

On the left side of the device view are tools for selecting the orientation that you want to view or configure--front, back, or BFM.

To select an orientation:

Click an orientation tool (Front, Back or BFM) on the left side of the module.

The device view changes to show a view of the front, back, or backplane fabric module.
