Configuring VRRP on a VLAN (or brouter port)

Before you configure VRRP on a VLAN you must first set VRRP globally.You can configure VRRP on a VLAN or brouter port only if the port or VLAN is assigned an IP address.

To configure VRRP parameters on a VLAN or brouter port:

  1. From the Device Manager menu bar, choose VLAN > VLANs.
    2. The VLAN dialog box opens with the Basic tab displayed.
  2. Select a VLAN
  3. Click IP.
    4. The IP, VLAN dialog box opens with the IP Address tab displayed.
  4. Select the VRRP tab.
    5. The VRRP tab opens.
  5. Click Insert.
    6. The IP, VLAN, Insert VRRP dialog box opens.
