Configuring exclusionary URL string matching

To configure exclusionary URL string matching:

  1. Configure the WSM for SLB. See Configuring virtual server load balancing.
  2. Define the strings to be excluded. See Defining a string for URL load balancing.
  3. Add the strings to the real server and enable exclusionary string matching on the real server. See Configuring a real server for URL-based load balancing. Configure the following parameters:
    4. ­ Exclude String Match = Enable
    ­ URL Paths = <strings>

    Caution! Caution: If you configured a string any and enabled the exclusion option, the server will not handle any requests. This has the same effect as disabling the server.
