Enabling STP on a port

To enable or disable STP on a port:

  1. From the Device Manager menu bar, choose VLAN > STG.
    2. The STG dialog box opens with the configuration tab displayed.
  2. Click the Ports tab.
    3. The Ports tab opens.
  3. Select a port by clicking in the EnableStp field of the port you want.
  4. Change the setting by selecting the pull-down window. Select true if you want to enable STP for that port; select false if you want to disable STP for that port.
  5. Click Apply to save your changes.
