Specifying and viewing static routes on an interface

You can display the current static routes and specify a route for an interface. In addition, you can configure a static route on each logical IPX interface.

To configure static routes:

  1. From the Device Manager menu bar, choose IPX Routing > IPX.
  2. The IPX dialog box opens with the Globals tab displayed.
  3. Click the Static Routes tab.
  4. The Static Routes tab is displayed.
  5. Click Insert.
  6. The IPX, Insert Static Routes dialog box opens.
  7. In the CircIndex text box, type the IPX circuit index number.
  8. In the NetNum text box, type IPX network number.
  9. In the Ticks text box, type the number of ticks.
  10. In the HopCount text box, type the number of hops.
  11. In the NextHopNICAddress text box, type the number of next hops.
  12. Click Insert.
