Editing ports
When using the view and edit options, keep in mind these points:
- If you disable options for an interface, the option tabs that are not applicable are not available for selection from the Edit menu.
- Some option tabs are available when you edit multiple ports, even though the options are not applicable.
- Similarly, some configuration parameters are visible even though the parameters do not apply to the selected ports.
- When the option does not apply for a given port, the message NoSuchObjects is displayed.
To edit a single port or multiple ports:

On the device view, double click a port (for single port only) or,
select a port and do one of the following: |

From the shortcut menu, choose Edit. |

From the Device Manager menu bar, choose Edit > Port. |
| |
From the toolbar, click the Edit button.

Note:
When editing a single port, option tabs that are not applicable will not be available for selection. When editing multiple ports, some option tabs are not available, and some option tabs will be available even though the options are not applicable. When the option does not apply for a given port, NoSuchObject is displayed.
