Inserting OSPF area aggregate ranges
To insert OSPF area aggregate ranges:
- From the Device Manager menu bar, choose IP Routing > OSPF > Area Aggregate.

- Click Insert.

- Type the Area ID.
- Select the type of link state database.
- summaryLink -- to generate an aggregated summary
- nssaExternalLink -- to generate an (NSSA) link summary
- Select the effect you want:
- advertiseMatching--to advertise the aggregate summary LSA with the same LSID
- doNotAdvertiseMatching--to suppress all networks that fall within the entire range
- advertiseDoNotAggregate--to advertise individual networks
- Click Insert.
