Viewing administrative weights

Administrative weights are assigned as a percentage of the total number of possible packet transmit opportunities. For example, an administrative weight of 100 indicates that this queue has 32 packet transmit opportunities. An administrative weight of 50 indicates that this queue has 50% of the possible 32 packet transmit opportunities, or 16.

The administrative weights control the relative latency of traffic passing through each of the eight QoS queues. They cannot be used, however, to change drop precedence behavior. This behavior is determined exclusively by queue number, with queues 6 and 7 having the lowest precedence (but highest priority) and queues 1 and 0 having the highest precedence (but lowest priority).
