Filter, Insert filters dialog box items


Item Description
Type
Select from the following types of filters:
  • Global
  • Destination
  • Source
DstAddr
The destination IP address of an IP packet.
DstMask
The subnet mask of the destination IP address.
SrcAddr
The source IP address of an IP packet.
SrcMask
The subnet mask of the source IP address.
Name
The name assigned to this filter (optional).
ProtocolType
The protocol of the traffic flow. Select from the following protocols:
  • ICMP
  • TCP
  • UDP
The default is set to ignore.
SrcPort
The TCP or UDP source port to filter on.
SrcOption
Type of matching to perform on the rcIpFilterSrcPort field.
DstPort
Type of matching to perform on the reIpFilterDstPort field.
DstOption
Type of matching to perform on the reIpFilterDstPort. For source and destination filters, this value can only be equal(1).
Mirror
Enables port mirroring.
HighPriority
Enables high priority.
TcpConnect
Used to specify whether a TCP packet matching this filter should be accepted. Pass only those matching TCP packets with either the ACK bit or RST bit set. Apply only if the IP Protocol is set to TCP.
leeeVlanPriority
Used to specify the priority bits for explicit IEEE VLAN tag for a packet matching this filter. If this priority bit field is greater than the priority field currently in the IEEE tag in the Packet Header, this priority field will be loaded into the Packet Header.
DiffServRule
Select from the following DiffServRules:
  • IpTosRule1
  • IpTosRule2
  • IpTosRule3
The default is set to none.
UsePktLimit
Limits the number of incoming packets between 0 and 65535.
Mode
Select the following modes for the IP packet:
  • UseDefaultAction (this is the default value)
  • Forward--forwards IP packets to the next hop
  • Drop--drops IP packets

  1. From the DiffServRule field, select a rule to apply. The OrRule numbers correspond to the ipTosRule numbers. For example, to apply OrRule 2, you would select ipTosRule2.
  2. Click Insert.
