Item	Description
AreaId	The 32-bit identifier for the stub area. On creation, it is derived from the instance.
TOS	The type of service associated with the metric. On creation, it is derived from the instance.
Metric	The metric value applied at the indicated type of service. By default, it equals the lowest metric value at the type of service among the interfaces to other areas.
Status	This variable displays the status of the entry.

Area Aggregate tab

To insert OSPF area ranges:

1. From the Device Manager window menu bar, choose IP Routing > OSPF > Area Aggr.

The Area Aggr. tab opens.

2. Click Insert.

The Insert Area Aggr. dialog box opens.

3. In the AreaID text box, type the Area ID.
4. In the LsdbType text box, select the type of link state database:
• summaryLink--to generate an aggregated summary
• nssaExternalLink--to generate an NSSA link summary
5. In the Net text box, type the network address.
6. In the Mask text box, type the subnet mask.
7. In the Effect check box, select the effect you want:
• advertiseMatching--to advertise the aggregate summary LSA with the same LSID
• doNotAdvertiseMatching--to suppress all networks that fall within the entire range
• advertiseDoNotAggregate--to advertise individual networks
8. Click Insert.
