Assigning an IP address to a VLAN

To specify an IP address for a virtual routing port:

  1. From the Device Manager menu bar, select IP Routing > IP.
    2. The IP dialog box opens with the Globals tab displayed.
  2. Click Interfaces.
    3. The Interfaces tab is displayed.
  3. Click Insert.
    4. The IP, Insert IP Interfaces dialog box opens.
  4. Enter the IP interface name.
  5. Enter the IP address of the interface.
  6. Enter the IP address subnet mask.
  7. Enter or select the VLAN name for the interface.
  8. Click Insert.
