Configuring SNMP communities
You can create up to four SNMP community strings1 for the SNMP management host, and specify the strings as having read-only or read-write privileges.
- read-only--allows read-only access to the switch's SNMP agent. The default read-only community string is public.
- read-write--allows read and write access to the switch's SNMP agent. The default read-write community string is private.
