LDP Entity tab fields

Field Description
LdpId
Displays the six octet LDP identifier. The first four octets identify the LSR, and the last two octets identify a specific label space within the LSR.
EntityIndex
Displays the value used to identify this row in the entity index.
The Entity Index is a secondary index required in some cases such as an LDP implementation that uses PPP.
ProtocolVersion
Displays the version of the LDP Protocol that this session is using. The value of 0 indicates that the version of the protocol is unknown.
AdminStatus
Displays the administrative status of this LDP Entity: enable or disable.
OperStatus
Displays the operation status of this LDP Entity: enabled or disabled.
WellKnownTcpDiscoveryPort
Displays the well known discovery port for LDP.
The default value is 646.

MaxPduLength
Displays the maximum allowable length for entity PDUs (protocol data units).
KeepAliveHoldTimer
Displays the two octet value that is the proposed keepalive hold timer for this LDP entity.
HelloHoldTimer
Displays the two octet value that is the proposed Hello hold timer for this LDP entity. A value of 0 means use the default, which is 15 seconds for Link Hellos and 45 seconds for Targeted Hellos. A value of 65535 means infinite.
FailedInitSessionTrap
Enable

Displays whether or not the Failed Init Session Threshold trap should be generated: TRUE (enabled) or FALSE (disabled).
FailedInitSession
Threshold

Displays the number of Session Initialization messages that the given LDP entity should send when attempting to establish a session with a given peer. When the number of Session Initialization messages sent exceeds this threshold, the LDP entity should send out the SNMP notification, 'mplsLdpFailedInitSessionThresholdExceeded'.
A value of 0 (zero) indicates that the threshold is infinity, and the SNMP notification will never be sent.
LabelAdvertiseMode
Displays the advertise mode used by this entity. The OM8000 switch automatically sets this mode according to the label protocol you configure on the interface (see Configuring MPLS on an interface).
PVLimitMismatchTrap
Enable

Displays whether or not the Path Vector Limit Mismatch trap should be generated: enable or disable.
PathVectorLimit
Displays the path vector limit for loop detection.
HopCount
Displays this entity's maximum allowable value for the Hop Count.
If the value of this object is 0 (zero), then Loop Detection using Hop Counters is disabled.
If the value of this object is greater than 0 (zero) then Loop Detection using Hop Counters is enabled.
LabelRetentionMode
Displays how the entity retains label bindings that it receives from LSRs: conservative or liberal.
The OM8000 switch automatically sets this mode to liberal (see Configuring MPLS on an interface).

TargetedPeer
Displays whether or not this LDP entity uses targeted peers.
TargetedPeerAddrType
Displays the IP version address type used by the target peer.
TargetedPeerAddr
Displays the IP addresses for targeted LDP peer.
DiscontinuityTime
Displays the most recent occasion when one or more of this session's counters experience a discontinuity such as when an entity goes away and then is re-established. The value of the discontinuity time would change and thus indicate to an NMS that this is a different session.
OptionalParameters
Displays the optional parameters sent in the LDP Initialization message associated with this entity: generic, atmParameters, or frameRelayParameters.
  • generic indicates no optional parameters will be sent.
  • atmParameters indicates ATM optional parameters will be sent.
  • frameRelayParameters indicates Frame Relay optional parameters will be sent.
