Configuring MPLS tunnels

To configure a tunnel in an MPLS network, use the following steps:

1. From the Device Manager menu bar, choose IP Routing > MPLS > Config.

The MPLS dialog box opens with the Globals tab displayed.

2. Click the Tunnel tab.

The Tunnel tab opens and displays any previously configured tunnels.

3. Click Insert.

The MPLS, Insert Tunnel dialog box opens.

4. Enter a unique Tunnel ID number for this tunnel.
5. Enter the CLIP address of the ingress LSR.
6. Enter the CLIP address of the egress LSR.
7. Name the tunnel.
8. Set the Admin Status to enable.
9. Set the bandwidth.
10. Enter the Explicit Path ID.
11. Click Insert.
