Setting and modifying ADM values

To set or modify the ADM values:

  1. From the Device Manager menu bar, choose VPN > VPLS-VPN.
    2. The VPLS_VPN dialog box opens with the Config tab displayed.
  2. Select the ADM tab.
    3. The ADM tab opens.
  3. In the TLSEnabled field, select true from the pull-down menu.
  4. In the KeepAliveInterval field, enter the minutes you want to elapse between ADM messages.
    5. The default is 30 minutes, and the range is 3 to 10,000 minutes.

    Note Note: Nortel Networks recommends that you set this value to be three times the adm keep-alive interval value on the OM 1200 ESM module.

  5. In the UDPPort field, enter the number of the port you want to receive the ADM messages.
    6. The default port is 9999, and the range is 1 to 65535.
