Enabling OSPF on a circuitless IP interface

To enable OSPF on an interface:

1. Select the interface (CLIP1, CLIP2, etc.) in the IP dialog box, Circuitless IP tab.
   
   

   Note: You must first enable OSPF for circuitless IP to function properly.

   
   
2. Click OSPF.

The OspfCircuitless dialog box opens.

3. Click Enable.
4. Enter a new area ID by specifying a 32-bit integer. When OSPF is enabled, the circuitless IP address is configured to the backbone area ID 0.0.0.0 until you change the configuration.
5. Click Apply.
