Assigning an IP address to a UNI port

To assign an IP address to a UNI port:

  1. In Device Manager, right-click the UNI port and choose Edit.
  2. The Port dialog box opens with the Interface tab displayed.
  3. Click the LAN Ports tab to bring it to the front.
  4. In the IpAddress box, type the IP address that you want to assign to the port.

Note Note: Unless you disable SubnettingRulesEnabled, the IP address you assign to a UNI port must be on the same subnet as the address assigned to the module.

The module IP address is shown on the Addresses tab of the IP Dialog box.

The SubnettingRulesEnabled setting is on the UNI IP Subnetting tab of the OEL2 dialog box.

  5. Click Apply.
