LAN Ports tab

The LAN Ports tab of the Port dialog box lets you view and edit interface settings for the selected port.


Note Note: You cannot enable more than 12 mapped service type UNI ports on a single mapped TD. This is important when you configure the OM 1450 ESM module and the OM 1400 ESM module, which have 14 UNI ports; however, you can enable all 14 UNI ports if you have more than 1 mapped TD.
You can enable up to 14 transparent service type ports on a single transparent TD.

The following table describes the parts of the LAN Ports tab.


Part Description
Port
Identifies the port.
ServiceType
Lets you set the service type for the port. Valid settings are:
  • transparent
  • mapped
  • tls-nni
DefaultPriority
Lets you change the 802.1P priority to be assigned to incident frames having no such priority of their own.
Note: For NNI ports, the DefaultPriority is read-only.
IpAddress
Lets you set the IP address of the interface.
Mode
Lets you select the mode of the interface.
TDStateChangeNotifEnabled
Enables or disables the tlsTDStateChanged Notification for this port.
QueueNumber
Shows the number of (scheduler) queues supported on this interface. The range is integers 1..8. (Read only)
Apply
Applies the settings and information to the device. This command button is only enabled when settings have been changed.
Refresh
Refreshes the settings and information from the device.
Close
Closes the Port dialog box.
Help
Opens online Help for the current tab of the Port dialog box.
