Accessing the PCAP captured frames file

To access the PCAP captured packets file:

  1. From the Device Manager menu bar, choose Actions > Get PCAP File.
    2. The Get Pcap File dialog box opens.
  2. Enter your login name and password for the PCAP engine (secondary CPU).
  3. Click RAM or PCMCIA.
    4. If you click RAM, the PCAP file is copied from RAM. If you click PCMCIA, the PCAP file is copied from a PCMCIA device.
  4. In the PcapDirectory field, enter the directory path where you want the file to be stored.
  5. Click OK.
