Configuring open shortest path first (OSPF)

To configure OSPF:

  1. From the Device Manager menu bar, choose Edit > Port.
    2. The Port dialog box opens with the Interface tab displayed.
  2. Click the OSPF tab.
    3. The OSPF tab opens.
  3. Check Enable.
  4. Specify the HelloInterval.
  5. Specify the RtrDeadInterval.
  6. Designate a RtrPriority.
  7. Enter a metric.
  8. If desired, select an authentication type.
  9. If you chose a simplePassword authentication type, enter an authentication key.
  10. Enter the AreaId.
  11. If desired, check AdvertiseWhenDown.
  12. Select an IfType.
  13. Specify a polling interval.
  14. Click Apply.
  15. Click Close.
