Adding ports to an STG

To add ports to a spanning tree group:

  1. From the Device Manager menu bar, choose VLAN > STG.
    2. The STG dialog box opens to the Configuration tab.
  2. Double-click the Port Members field for the STG.
    3. The Port Members dialog box opens, indicating the port members assigned to this STG.
  3. Click the ports you want to add to the STG, and click OK.
    4. The Port Members dialog box closes, and the ports are added to the Port Members field in the Configuration tab.

    Note Note: Spanning Tree protocol is not supported on SMLT or IST ports.

  4. Click Apply.
    5. The ports are added to the STG.
