When the PCMCIA reaches its limit, you have to make more room by deleting files. However, before deleting the files, you may want to copy them to another location. To copy PCMCIA files, select Edit > File System from the Device Manager menu bar. For more information on displaying and copying PCMCIA files, refer to Configuring Network Management.
How the Passport 8600 reports that there is no PCMCIA card present depends on whether or not the authentication or accounting time out occurred.
