8000 modules support policy-based VLANs based on IP subnets. You can assign access ports to multiple subnet-based VLANs. A frame's membership in a subnet-based VLAN is based on the IP source address associated with a mask. Subnet-based VLANs are optionally routable. Note: IP subnet-based VLANs cannot be used on segments that act as a transit network, that is a network routing to a bridged subnet.
