Assigning an IP address to a VLAN interface

To assign an IP address to an VLAN interface:

  1. On the Device View, select a port.
  2. From the Device Manager menu bar, choose VLAN > VLANs.
    3. The VLAN dialog box opens with the Basic tab displayed.
  3. Select a VLAN
  4. Click IP.
    5. The IP VLAN dialog box opens with the IP Address tab displayed.
  5. Click Insert.
    6. The VLAN, Insert IP Address dialog box opens.
  6. In the IpAddress field, type the interface IP Address.
  7. To automatically enter the default netmask, press the Tab key.
  8. Click Insert.
    9. The IP Address is assigned to the selected VLAN interface.
