Configuring BootP/DHCP on VLANs

The procedure for configuring BootP/DHCP relay on a routed VLAN is the same as configuring DHCP relay for a brouter port.

To configure the DHCP behavior for a routed VLAN:

  1. From the Device Manager menu bar, select VLAN > VLANs > Basic.
  2. The VLAN dialog box opens, with the Basic tab displayed.
  3. Select a VLAN.
  4. Click IP.
  5. The IP, VLAN dialog box opens with the IP Address tab displayed.
  6. Select the DHCP tab.
  7. The DHCP tab opens.
  8. Select Enable and enter the appropriate values.
  9. Click Apply.
