Configuring VRRP globally
To configure VRRP globally:

From the Device Manager menu bar, choose IP Routing > VRRP > Globals. |
| The VRRP dialog box opens with the Globals tab displayed. |
The table below describes the Globals tab items.

SendTrap
|
Indicates whether the VRRP-enabled router will generate SNMP traps for events defined in this MIB:
- Enabled--SNMP traps are sent
- Disabled--no traps are sent

PingVirtualAddress
|
Used to configure whether this device should respond to pings directed to a virtual router's IP address.
