IPX configuration with Device Manager

Implementation of IPX by Passport 1000 Series switches supports the following Ethernet frame formats:

• EthernetII
• 802.2-LLC
• 802.3-RAW
• 802.3-SNAP

Frame translations from one frame format to another are supported, but the IPX host format must match the defined protocol frame format of the interface to which the host is connected.

Passport 1000 Series switches support IPX as VLAN routing, if IPX routing is enabled on the VLAN.
