Inserting a static forwarding entry

To insert a static forwarding entry:

  1. From the Device Manager menu bar, choose VLAN > VLANs.
    2. The VLAN dialog box opens with the Basic tab displayed.
  2. Select a VLAN.
  3. Click the Bridge button.
    4. The Bridge dialog box opens with the Transparent tab displayed.
  4. Click the Static tab.
    5. The Static tab opens.
  5. In the Static tab, click Insert.
    6. The Bridge, VLAN Insert Static dialog box opens.
  6. In the MacAddress field, type the MAC address.
  7. In the Port field, enter the ports you want to include in the static entry.
  8. Check the Monitor box (optional).
  9. In the Priority field, select a priority. The default is low priority.
  10. Click Insert.
