Setting the AndMask

To set the AndMask:

  1. From the Device Manager window menu bar, choose IP Routing > DiffServ.
    2. The DiffServ dialog box opens.
  2. In the DiffServRuleAndMask text box, type the value that is converted to binary, applied to the 8-bit field, and acts as a mask. This value must be an integer between 0 and 255.
    3. This value is used to mask or protect bits already set.
  3. Click Apply.
