Accessing the Web interface

To access the Web interface:

Enter your switch IP address as the URL in your Web browser.

The Web interface has a 15-minute timeout period. If there is no activity for 15 minutes, the system logs off the switch Web interface, and you must reenter the password information.

To get more information regarding the Web management interface:

• Click the Help link in the Support folder to view the entire Help file.
• For context-sensitive Help, click the Help button on any page to view information specifically about that page.
  
  
  
  
  
  

  Note: The Help files for the Web interface are shipped on the Passport Management Software CD. You must install these files on a server and specify the path and file name before you can access online Help.
