Configuring a candidate RP

The following steps describe how to add a candidate rendezvous point (C-RP) to the RP Set.

To configure a C-RP:

  1. From the Device Manager menu bar, choose IP Routing > PIM.
    2. The PIM dialog box opens with the Globals tab displayed.
  2. Click the Candidate RP tab.
    3. The Candidate RP tab opens.

  3. Click Insert.
    4. The PIM, Insert Candidate dialog box opens.
