Enabling STP on a port

To enable STP for a port:

  1. From the Device Manager menu bar, choose VLAN > STG.
    2. The STG dialog box opens to the Configuration tab.
  2. Click the Ports tab.
    3. The Ports tab opens.
  3. Click in the EnableStp field for the port you want to enable.
    4. The dropdown menu opens.
  4. From the dropdown menu, choose true.
    5. The EnableStp setting changes.
  5. Click Apply.
    6. STP is enabled for the port.
