Configuring PIM-SM globally

In order for the IGMP and IGAP parameters to take effect, you must enable PIM-SM.

To enable PIM-SM globally:

  1. From the Device Manager menu bar, choose IP Routing > PIM.
    2. The PIM dialog box opens with the Globals tab displayed.
  2. Click Mode: sm (sparse mode).
  3. Click Enable.
  4. Click Apply.
