Configuring MPLS globally

When you enable MPLS globally, the switch automatically enables the Label Distribution Protocol (LDP) globally and the Resource Reservation Protocol (RSVP) globally.

To configure MPLS globally on the switch, use the following steps:

  1. From the Device Manager menu bar, choose IP Routing > MPLS > Config.
    2. The MPLS dialog box opens with the Globals tab displayed.
  2. In the RouterId field, enter the CLIP address for the switch.

    Note Note: Before you can change this parameter, you must disable MPLS.

  3. In the TunnelRestartTime field, change the number of seconds or accept the default of 30 seconds.
  4. In the AdminStatus field, click enable.
  5. Click Apply.
