Enabling or disabling ports

To enable or disable any port on the OM 1200 ESM module or the OM 1450 ESM module:

Ë In Device Manager, right-click the port and choose either Enable or Disable.


Note Note: Before you can enable a UNI port, you must:
  • Map the port to a transparent domain
  • Assign a valid IP address to the UNI port

    • If these conditions are not met, Device Manager displays an error message if you try to enable the UNI port.
