Globals tab
Use the Globals tab of the IP Dialog box to view global IP parameters for the modules.
The following table describes the parts of the Globals tab.

DefaultTTL
|
Shows the default value inserted into the Time-To-Live field of the IP header of datagrams originated at this entity, whenever a TTL value is not supplied by the transport layer protocol. Default value is 16.

ReasmTimeout
|
Shows the maximum number of seconds that received fragments are held while they are awaiting reassembly at this entity. Default value is 5.

Refresh
|
Refreshes the settings and information from the device.
|
Close
|
Closes the IP dialog box.
|
Help
|
Opens online Help for the current tab of the IP dialog box.
