Ascii Config file tab

Use the Ascii Config file tab of the File System dialog box to download an ASCII configuration file.

The following table describes the parts of the Ascii Config file tab.


Part Description
TftpServerAddr
Lets you set the IP address of the load server for the ASCII configuration file. If not used, then the value is 0.0.0.0.
AsciiConfigFilename
Lets you set the name of the ASCII configuration file you want to download.
AsciiConfigAutoDownload
Indicates whether an ASCII configuration file should be downloaded at boot. The file can be downloaded using either the configured file name and TFTP server address, or a BootP server can be used to determine the file name and TFTP server address. Choose one of the following:
  • disabled
  • useBootp
  • useConfig
AsciiConfigAutoDldStatus
Displays the status of the automatic ASCII config file download. The values that can be read are:
  • passed--successfully downloaded.
  • inProgress -- the operation is in progress
  • fail -- the operation failed.
AsciiConfigManualDownload
Allows you to download the ASCII configuration file immediately.
AsciiConfigManualDldStatus
Displays the progress of the immediate downloading of the ASCII configuration file, either:
  • passed
  • InProgress
  • failed
Apply
Applies the settings and information to the device.
Refresh
Refreshes the settings and information from the device.
Close
Closes the FileSystem dialog box.
Help
Opens online Help for the FileSystem dialog box.
