Assigning MIB view access for an object

To assign MIB view access for an object:

  1. From the Device Manager menu bar, click Edit > SnmpV3 > VACM table.
    2. The VACM dialog box opens.
  2. Select the MIB View tab.
    3. The MIB View tab opens.
  3. Click Insert.
    4. The VACM, Insert MIB View dialog box opens.
  4. Enter a ViewName.
  5. Enter a Subtree.
  6. Enter a Mask.
  7. Select a Type.
  8. Click Insert.
    9. The VACM dialog opens. The assigned MIB view appears in the list.
