Configuring ports for server load balancing

To configure ports for server load balancing:

  1. From the device view, select the Web Switching Module.
    2. The Web Switching Module is highlighted.
  2. From the Edit menu, choose WSM Card > L4 Switching> SLB.
    3. The Server Load Balance dialog box opens to the General tab.
  3. Click the Ports tab.
    4. The Ports tab opens.
  4. Click Insert.
  5. The Insert Ports dialog box opens In the Port field, type the port number.
  6. In the Load Balance State field, click the down arrow and choose a state from the list (None, Client, Server, or Client-Server).
  7. Use the other fields on the tab to further define the port.
  8. Click Insert.
    9. The port is inserted into the Ports tab and the Insert Ports dialog box closes.
  9. From the Ports tab, click Apply > Close.
    10. The port is configured and the Server Load Balance dialog box closes.
