Configuring the WAP RADIUS snooping filter

Before configuring the WAP RADIUS snooping filter, complete the procedure in the section, Configuring WAP server load balancing.

To configure the filter rule to examine a RADIUS accounting packet:

  1. From the Device View, select the Web Switching Module.
  2. The Web Switching Module is highlighted.
  3. From the Edit menu, select WSM Card > L4 Switching > Filters.
  4. The Filters dialog box opens.
  5. Click Insert.
  6. The Insert Filters dialog box opens.
  7. In the Index field, type a new filter number (1 to 2048).
  8. In the Destination IP Address field, type the IP address to filter.
  9. In the Destination IP Mask field, type an IP mask to use with the IP address to select the traffic to filter.
  10. In the Protocol field, click Browse, choose UDP from the selection list, and click Modify.
  11. UDP is inserted into the Protocol field.
  12. In the Low Destination Port field, type 1813.
  13. In the High Destination Port field, type 1813.
  14. In the Action field, click the down arrow and choose Redirect.
  15. The Redirection Port field is active.
  16. In the Redirection Port field, type 1813.
  17. In the Redirection Group field, type the number of the real server group to which you want to redirect WAP traffic.
  18. In the WAP RADIUS Snooping field, click Enabled.
  19. In the Filter field, click Enabled to enable the new filter rule.
  20. Click Insert.
  21. The filter definition is inserted in the Filters tab and the Insert Filters dialog box closes.
  22. From the Filters tab, click Set > Apply > Close.
  23. The new filter is configured and the Filters dialog box closes.
