Enabling delayed binding for a server service

To enable delayed binding for a server service:

  1. From the device view, select the Web Switching Module.
    2. The Web Switching Module is highlighted.
  2. From the Edit menu, choose WSM Card > L4 Switching > SLB.
    3. The Server Load Balance dialog box opens to the General tab.
  3. Click the Virtual Server tab.
    4. The Virtual Servers tab opens. See Virtual server fields.
  4. Click the virtual server to configure.
    5. The virtual server is highlighted.
  5. Click Services.
    6. The Virtual Server Services dialog box opens. See Virtual server services fields.
  6. Click the Delayed Binding field for the virtual service you want to configure, and select Enabled.
  7. Click Set > Apply > Close.
    8. Delayed binding is enabled for the service.

    Note Note: Enable delayed binding without configuring any HTTP SLB processing or persistent binding types.
