Configuring multiple port mapping

To map multiple real server ports to a virtual server port:

  1. From the device view, select the Web Switching Module.
  2. The Web Switching Module is highlighted.
  3. From the Edit menu, choose WSM Card > L4 Switching > SLB.
  4. The Server Load Balance dialog box opens to the General tab.
  5. Click the Virtual Servers tab.
  6. The Virtual Servers tab opens.
  7. Select the virtual server for which you want to map a port.
  8. The virtual server number is highlighted.
  9. Click Services.
  10. The Virtual Server Services dialog box opens(see Virtual server services fields).
  11. Double click the Real Group field.
  12. The field is editable.
  13. Enter the number of the real server group.
  14. Double click the Real Server Port field
  15. The field is editable.
  16. Enter 0 to enable multiple real ports for the virtual server.
  17. Click Set > Apply> Close.
  18. Multiple port mapping is enabled for the service and the Virtual Server Services dialog box closes.
  19. In the Server Load Balance dialog box, click the Real Server Port tab.
  20. The Real Server Port tab opens.

  21. Click Insert.
  22. The Insert Real Server Port dialog box opens.
  23. In the Real Server field, type the real server number for the first real server in the group, or click Browse to choose from a selection list.
  24. In the Index field, type an index number for this server.
  25. In the Port field, type the port number, or click Browse to choose from a selection list.
  26. Repeat steps 13 - 15 for all ports and real servers in the group.
  27. Click Insert.
  28. The real server ports are added to the Real Server Port tab and the Insert Real Server Port dialog box closes.
  29. In the Server Load Balance dialog box, click Apply > Close.
  30. The real ports to which the virtual server listens are mapped, and the Server Load Balance dialog box closes.
