Removing a filter from a port

To remove a filter from a port:

  1. From the Device view, select a port orientation (Front or Back).
  2. Select a port.
  3. From the menu bar, choose Edit > WSM Card > Port/Back Port.
  4. The Port dialog box opens to the General tab.
  5. Click the Filtering tab.
  6. The Filtering tab opens, displaying the filter numbers currently applied to this port in the Filters Applied field.
  7. Click Filters.
  8. The Select Filters for Port dialog box opens to the Filter Membership tab with all applied filters highlighted.
  9. CTRL + Click the filter you want to remove.
  10. The filter is no longer highlighted.
  11. Click Modify.
  12. The dialog box closes, and the filter number is removed from the Filters Applied field on the Filtering tab.
  13. From the Filtering tab, click Set > Apply > Close.
  14. The filter is removed from the port and the Port dialog box closes.
  15. To save the change, right-click the WSM card and choose one of the following from the shortcut menu:
