Creating and enabling access policies

To create an access policy:

  1. From the menu bar, choose Edit > Security.
  2. The Security dialog box opens with the Access Policies tab displayed.
  3. Click Insert.
  4. The Insert Access Policies dialog box opens.
  5. In the Name field, type a name for the access policy. (This step is optional.)
  6. In the NetAddr field, enter an IP address or range of addresses in the NetAddr field.
  7. Select a service and whether to allow it or deny it.
  8. Set a precedence number for the service (lower numbers mean higher precedence).
  9. Set the access level for the service.
  10. Click PolicyEnable if you intend to enable this policy immediately.
  11. Click Insert.
  12. Repeat these steps as necessary for each type of service.
