Enabling RADIUS accounting
|
Note:
You must set up a RADIUS server and add it to the switch's configuration file before you can enable RADIUS accounting on the switch. Otherwise, the system displays an error message.

To enable RADIUS accounting:
- From the Device Manager menu bar, choose Edit > Security.
| The Security dialog box opens with the Access Policies tab displayed. |
- Click the RADIUS Global tab.
| The RADIUS Global tab opens. |
- Click AcctEnable.
- Enter an access policy value in the AcctAttributeValue field (by default, this value is 193).
- Click Apply.
- Close the dialog box.

Note:
To disable RADIUS accounting, you deselect AcctEnable. You cannot globally disable RADIUS accounting unless a server entry exists.
