LAN Services tab

Use the LAN Services tab of the OEL2 dialog box to configure OEL2 LAN services. For more information, see Mapping 802.1p priority to Optical Ethernet class-of-service (COS)

The following table describes the parts of the LAN Services tab.

Part Description
Port
Shows the port to which the entry applies.
FramesTag
Shows the 802.1q tag applied by NNI ports to every customer frame exiting the NNI. This feature lets non-TLS equipment (bridges, routers, etc.) to separate Customer frames from Management/Control Frames. This attribute only applies to interfaces with a TLS interface type of tls-nni.
The FramesTag value must be 0..4094 or 4096.
If a frame without an 802.1q tag enters a mapped UNI port, the frame is considered to have a FramesTag value of 4096. If there is no mapping for the FramesTag value of 4096, the untagged frame is discarded.
If you do not want untagged frames to be discarded, assign a transparent domain mapping for the FramesTag value 4096.
ServiceEnabled
Sets whether service is activated on this transparent domain.
TDIndex
Lets you set the Transparent Domain in which to classify frames matching the key for this table entry. The TDIndex value must be 1 or 100..16777215.
PriorityMap
Maps 802.1p priorities (0-7) to Optical Ethernet class-of-service (COS) values (0-7) for packets across a UNI. The first bytes represent the COS for 802.1p priority of 0. Subsequent bytes represent the mappings of the remaining 802.1p priorities.
