IGMP tab items

This table describes the IGMP tab items on the IP, VLAN dialog box.


Item Description
Query Interval
The frequency at which IGMP Host-Query packets are transmitted on the interface.
Version
The version of IGMP on the interface.
Query MaxResponse Time
The maximum query response time advertised in IGMPv2 queries on the interface. Smaller values allow a router to prune groups faster.
Robustness
The robustness variable allows for tuning for the expected packet loss on a subnet. if a subnet is expected to be lossy, the robustness variable can be increased.
LastMemb QueryIntvl
The maximum response time inserted into group-specific queries sent in response to leave group messages; also the time between group-specific query messages. Increasing this parameter increases the time before aging hosts on the network. It also increases the number of retransmits of group-specific queries. The range is from 1 to 255. The default value is 1.
Snoop Enable
Used to enable snoop.
Proxy Snoop Enable
Used to enable proxy snoop.
Fast Leave Enable
Used to enable fast leave on this interface.
Fast Leave Port Members
The set of ports that are enabled for fast leave.
Snoop MRouter Ports
The set of ports in this interface that provide connectivity to an IP multicast router.
